Process
Q. Is there a specific application form to be used?
There is no specific format for the resume, cover letter, or portfolio
however, we request that all documents be submitted in PDF format.
All submitted documents should be written in Korean.
Please be sure to include the following mandatory information in your submission:
① Resume "Free format"
Please include the following essential details:
- Educational background (High school and university)
- Major & GPA
- Language proficiency scores
② Cover Letter: Three mandatory questions + additional job-specific questions
- Self-introduction and motivation for applying
- Why you are suited for this role
- The most challenging moment in your life and what you learned from it
- Job-specific additional questions
③ Portfolio "Free format"
* Optional submission for roles other than specific positions
- For design roles, submitting a portfolio is mandatory.
- For marketing and business management roles, submitting a portfolio is not mandatory
but it would be highly appreciated if you have one!
Q. Can I confirm if my application has been submitted
successfully?
Once your application has been successfully submitted
a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided during application.
Please check your spam folder, as the confirmation email may occasionally be redirected there.
If you do not receive the confirmation email, please contact [email protected].
Q. When is the application deadline?
Most of Benow's hiring processes are ongoing. Positions may close once a suitable candidate is
found so we recommend applying as soon as possible.
* For job postings with a set application period
please refer to the specific deadlines listed in the posting.
Q. Is submitting language proficiency scores mandatory?
For roles where language skills are required you must include your language proficiency scores.
These scores serve as an indicator of your ability to use foreign languages in the role
and expired scores are acceptable. If you graduated from a foreign university or do not have
language proficiency scores, please indicate "None" in your application.
* Mandatory language proficiency submission applies to positions with "Global" in the title.
Q. Do I need to submit supporting documents with my
application?
When submitting your application you are not required to submit supporting documents
such as graduation certificate or language proficiency scores.
These documents will only be requested from selected candidates after the hiring process.
Please keep this in mind when submitting your application.
Q. Can I apply for multiple positions at once?
Yes, you may apply for multiple positions simultaneously.
However, please note that each position may have different evaluation criteria and timelines.
Q. What is the difference between regular positions and
full-time positions?
Both regular and full-time positions are considered permanent roles.
However there is a difference in the scope of responsibilities assigned
and the eligibility requirements.
Please review the following details:
- Regular Position
Applicants must have at least a Bachelor's degree from a 4-year university.
- Full-time Position
Applicants must have at least a Bachelor's degree from a technical college or
a high school diploma.
Q. Are specific majors required for each job position?
You can apply regardless of your major, as there are no restrictions based on your field of study.
However, for design roles a relevant design major is mandatory.
Q. Are there any disadvantages for reapplying?
Benow does not impose any disadvantages for reapplying.
However, if you are reapplying for the same position and there are no changes to your submitted
documents, we may not be able to provide a different outcome.
Additionally, please note that if you apply for the same position within a month
your application will be automatically deleted from the system.
Q. When will I be notified of the results?
Results for each stage will be communicated via the email you provided
regardless of whether you are successful or not.
- Document screening & Competency test stages results will be communicated within 2 weeks.
- interview stages results will be communicated within 1 week.
※ For design roles portfolio review may take longer and results will be provided within 3 weeks.
Please note that delays in result notifications may occur due to internal circumstances.
In such cases we will notify you of the delay separately.
Q. Can foreigners apply?
Foreign nationals can apply if they hold a valid work visa or if there are no issues in obtaining one.
However, there may be separate job postings specifically for foreign applicants.
Additionally, please be aware that all documents (resumes and cover letters) must be
submitted in Korean, and interviews will primarily be conducted in Korean.
Q. Can I modify my application after submission?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept changes to your application after submission.
Please ensure that you carefully review your application before submitting it.
Interview
Process
Q. What should I wear for the interview?
There are no specific dress codes,
but we recommend wearing neat and professional attire appropriate for an interview.
Q. What is the interview format and how long does it take?
Interviews are generally conducted in person at Benow's headquarters.
The interview typically lasts between 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Q. Can I receive feedback after the interview?
Due to fairness among applicants and internal regulations,
we do not provide individual feedback after interviews. We kindly ask for your understanding.
Q. What kind of questions will be asked during the interview?
Interview questions will be based on your resume, cover letter, and portfolio.
You are also welcome to ask questions about Benow during the interview,
so it would be great if you come prepared with some questions.
Q. How can I obtain an interview confirmation letter?
Please send your name, applied position and the reason for the request to

Other
Q. Is it possible to be added to a talent pool?
Unfortunately, we currently do not have a talent pool, except for the Global Intern positions.
If we start managing a talent pool in the future, we will update the job postings list accordingly.
Q. When is the expected start date after final acceptance?
For new graduates, we ask for a start date within 2 weeks after final acceptance.
For experienced hires, we request a start date within one month.
